Wes Cooley on the Honda RS500 engaged in a race (wet) of the AMA Formula 1 on the route of the Mid-Ohio in 1984. Almost everyone remembers Wes Cooley for his exploits aboard the accessible Yoshimura Suzuki in AMA Superbike.
